About us

Dar Leone is a London based design studio founded by Sierra Leonean-American, Isatu Funna. Reimagining traditional woven textiles from Sierra Leone, we create and curate a globally inspired range of jewellery, textiles, furniture, lampshades, cushions and objects. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a creative, motivated and detail-oriented Sales and Ecommerce Coordinator to join our dynamic team.

Job Overview

The Sales and Ecommerce Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting our online operations, ensuring our digital storefront runs smoothly, and contributing to the growth of our ecommerce business. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about interiors and online retail, and who thrives in a collaborative and creative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Management:
    • Assist in managing and uploading product listings on the website, ensuring all content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with the brand’s aesthetic.
    • Monitor stock levels and liaise with the wider team to ensure product availability is up-to-date online.
  • Website Optimisation:
    • Ensure all product descriptions, images, pricing, and promotions are presented clearly.
    • Collaborate with the team to enhance user experience (UX) and optimize product pages for SEO.
    • Track website performance using analytics tools and provide insights for pain points and improvements.
  • Customer Service & Support:
    • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via email, chat, and social media platforms, providing exceptional service and product knowledge.
    • Assist customers with order issues, product returns, and exchanges, ensuring a seamless resolution process.
  • Order Processing & Fulfillment:
    • Oversee the daily order processing and ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
    • Work closely with the wider team to monitor shipping statuses and resolve any delivery issues.
  • Promotions & Campaigns:
    • Assist in executing and ideating online marketing campaigns, sales promotions, and seasonal events.
    • Ensure that promotions are correctly applied, and that the website reflects all relevant offers.
  • Reporting & Analytics:
    • Track and analyze key ecommerce metrics such as traffic, conversion rates, and sales performance.
    • Provide regular reports on ecommerce performance and identify areas for improvement or growth.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • At least 1–2 years of experience in an ecommerce or retail environment, preferably within the interiors, furniture, or lifestyle sectors.
  • Skills:
    • Strong attention to detail with an eye for high-quality product presentation.
    • Proficiency in ecommerce and CMS platforms, previous experience with Shopify is highly recommended.
    • Basic understanding of SEO best practices.
    • Familiarity with Google Analytics and other web analytics tools.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Being a brand guardian and passionate about interior design and home furnishings.
    • Customer-focused with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
    • Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Desirable but not essential:

  • Knowledge of photo editing tools (e.g., Adobe Suite, Canva) for product image editing and producing content for social media.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms, Klaviyo or Flodesk.
